Anthony Abbott, Ed.D.is a Fellow of ACSM and the Founder and President of Fitness Institute International. Since its incorporation in 1978, Fitness Institute has been committed to enhancing life through sound education in health and fitness. To date, the Institute has provided for the education and certification of over 5,000 fitness instructors and personal trainers who in turn have assisted others in improving their personal health behavior.

| Jose Antonio, Ph.D., FACSM, FNSCA, FISSNDr. Antonio is the CEO and co-founder of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Dr. Antonio earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSWMC) in the area of skeletal muscle plasticity. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the UTSWMC. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Sports Nutrition Insider, the first sports nutrition trade magazine and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Currently he is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Biology at Nova Southeastern University in Davie FL and is a sports science advisor for VPX/Redline. |

He has not only coached 31 individual NCAA National Champions, but has also coached eight NCAA National Team Champions and 131 All Americans. He was named the NCAA Cross Country "Coach of the Century," has been the "National Coach of the Year" three times and was named the "World's Best Coach" by Runner's World Magazine. |
